English Powerlifting Competitions.

Competitions for members of English Divisions.

Although the English Powerlifting Association sanction British Powerlifting competitions throughout the English Divisions, it is only directly responsible for organising a select few National Level English Championships. For information regarding upcoming divisional competitions please view the British Powerlifting Calendar or visit the appropriate Divisional Website.

The pinnacles of the English calendar are the annual Men's and Women's 'All England Championships', Bi-Annual 'English Benchpress Championships', and 'Inter-Divisional Championships', which include all weight and age classes catering for both Equipped and Classic (Unequipped) lifters.

To be eligible to compete at English National Championships an English Qualifying Total must first be achieved.

The results from the 'All England' and 'English Benchpress' Championships are used by the England selectors to choose teams for the annual Four Nations and Bi-Annual Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships.
